Who is Miss Mary Carol?

Hi! Thank you for stopping by to learn a little bit about me! I am a native Gwinnettian, I grew up in Lawrenceville and went to Collins Hill High School. After graduating from high school, I went to the University of Georgia & yes, I bleed red and black!  I graduated with an education degree & then taught 7th & 8th grade math for 3 years. I took some time off after my mother passed away, and then economic crisis of 2008 happened, so I found myself tutoring kids. I really loved being able to tutor kids, it's so much more about the kids & really making sure that they understand the material in a fun and engaging manner. I try very hard to make sessions personable & engaging while learning about all of the math stuff too! I am Georgia Certified Teacher in Math 4 - 12 grades and Social Studies 6 - 12 grades.
